Pet Sitting

Sit and Stay offers an alternative to boarding your beloved pet. We believe that animals thrive when in their home environment. We offer two options for pet sitting services: day visits and overnight visits. Our day visits consist of 3-4 visits a day, starting early in the morning and ending at bedtime. We will spend at least 20 minutes caring for your animals during each visit. Activities include: feeding, brushing, taking out, short walks, playing your animal's favorite game. Our overnight service includes one mid-day visit as well as an 8-10 hour stay overnight. We do our best to keep your pets on their normal daily schedule to avoid adding undue stress.

Dog Walking

Dogs, like people, need daily exercise to help keep mind and body healthy. Sit and Stay offers daily dog walking in order to help the busy pet parent provide this necessary activity. We offer many walking programs from 15 minute walks for small dogs or those with special needs to 60 minute walks for those in need of a longer exercise program. Our experienced dog walkers can help with leash training and encouraging good walking behavior. A good exercise regimen can help your dog with destructive behaviors due to boredom and excess energy (chewing, biting, digging, etc.)

Dog Training

Our professional dog trainers can help you in identifying and solving many behavior issues. We offer one-time behavior consultations, 6 week classes to teach basic obedience, and potty training mini-courses. During the behavior consultation, we will assess your pet in her home environment. We can work on issues such as separation anxiety, destructive behaviors, fear-aggression, and many more. We have 7 years experience with special needs dogs and cats. Our personalized 6 week course is an obedience class tailor-made for your dog. We will meet with you first to decide what you want your pet to know by the end of the 6 week course. Basic obedience is key to having a happy, well-mannered pet. We can teach many obedience commands such as: sit, stay, down, come, and heel. We will also teach your pet to wait patiently, walk on a leash, and take treats politely. Sit and Stay also offers mini-sessions in potty training for those with new puppies.

Pet Taxi and Concierge Services

Sit and Stay also offers pet taxi service and concierge service. We know that life is hectic and that sometimes veterinary or grooming appointments are inconvenient. Sit and Stay will gladly take your pet and pick him up when the appointment is finished. Our concierge service is a service provided to our clients to aid in making life more enjoyable. We will run errands for you. Some of our concierge services include, but are not limited to: grocery shopping, picking up/dropping off dry cleaning, airport drop off/pick up.
