Our history
Started in 2005, Sit and Stay began because of our own dog's special needs and our wishes in providing him with the best care available. After speaking to family and friends about our situation, we realized that there was a need for professional, reliable pet sitters. At the time, both of us worked full-time and were building the business around our work schedules. Two years after starting Sit and Stay as a pet sitting business, we decided to add dog walking to our services. We also added behavior consultation and training at the same time because of our success in training our own dogs and clients' dogs. Rebekah is currently a dog trainer at Petco so we use up-to-date methods and reward-based training. In 2010, we began a concierge service for our busy clientele who do not have time to run to the dry cleaner or the grocery store. We also offer pet taxi service for those who work long hours and need assistance ferrying their pets to and from veterinarian and grooming appointments.
